Key Activities
The Building Healthy Places Initiative holds webinars on topics across our areas of work.
The ULI Health Leaders Network is empowering real estate and land use professionals with the skills, knowledge, and networks to improve health outcomes in their professional practice and communities. Participants gain valuable skills and connections that will help them advance their careers, as well as practical knowledge about the intersection between health, social equity, and the built environment.
ULI’s Building Healthy Places Book + Film Club is designed to spark thought, joy, and conversation around health, social equity, and real estate. Past live events have included small group discussions, performances, and chats with authors.
The Randall Lewis/ULI Building Healthy Places Forum brings together leaders in health, wellness, and real estate to discuss what they are doing, planning, and observing in the field. The Forums are content-heavy, interactive discussions and exchange between ULI members and other experts in the health and land use fields.
The ULI/Randall Lewis Health Mentorship Program allows students to learn about ULI, develop relationships with ULI members, and deepen their understanding of opportunities to advance health through careers in the land use industry. The program pairs exceptional current graduate students with ULI members working at the intersection of health and the built environment.
