The District Council network is the embodiment of ULI’s global mission in local communities – it is where ULI members act and interact with one another, the broader community, and public and private leaders to shape the future of the built environment where they live, work, and play.

With over 53 District Councils across the Americas, ULI members are actively influencing the development and city-building decisions that impact how their communities grow and thrive. With an eye on ULI’s global mission priorities, the local District Councils shape programs of work that are directly relevant to their local markets and to the real estate professionals working there.

The District Council network is also a place where ULI member leaders shine, leading efforts to broaden and deepen ULI’s impact, improve the lived experience of their neighbors, and imbue future real estate and city planning decisions with best practices from across the ULI network – from other cities in the United States and around the globe.
