ULI joins the nation in commemorating Women’s History Month this March and International Women’s Day on March 8. All month long, we are celebrating the achievements women have made over the course of history and the many contributions of our women members, staff, and partners to our global ULI community and society at large.
We are committed to pursuing unrelenting efforts to shape the built environment toward diverse, equitable, inclusive communities. Our commitment to promoting the advancement of women in the industry is demonstrated through the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI). Today, it has an active group of leaders – the Americas WLI Executive Committee in addition to 40+ chapters in 8 countries around the world. Our WLI leaders support local programming and initiatives, helping to increase both the number and visibility of more women leaders throughout ULI’s vast network.
During our Spring Meeting in April, our ULI community will have the opportunity to engage in WLI programming through signature events like View from the Top, WLI Coffee Connect, DEI & WLI Leadership Exchange, and Curated Conversations Dine Arounds. Through this curated lineup of empowering programs, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from dynamic women leaders, gain valuable insights into the latest trends in urban planning and real estate, and foster meaningful connections.
In the coming weeks, we will amplify stories and initiatives with notable impact on women. Join us across our platforms as we celebrate Women’s History Month and the significant progress made to advance gender equity.
We invite you to learn more about women’s history this month and engage in events and opportunities recognizing Women’s History Month. Thank you for joining us in this important month-long celebration and recognition.
