BHP Book + Film Club: The Address Book (Fall 2020)
Fall 2020 BHP Book + Film Club Title
ULI’s Building Healthy Places Initiative is launching a book club! The first book of the series is Wrestling with Moses: How Jane Jacobs Took on New York’s Master Builder and Transformed the American City by Anthony Flint.
The Building Healthy Places team is launching the BHP Book Club to spark thought, joy, and conversation around health, wellness, and real estate. Our first title is Wrestling with Moses: How Jane Jacobs Took on New York’s Master Builder and Transformed the American City by Anthony Flint. The Book Club will launch on May 14 with a live kick off via Zoom featuring composer Judd Greenstein and director/animator Joshua Frankel—the creative team behind A Marvelous Order, a forthcoming multimedia opera about the battle between Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs. We will also host a live talk with the author on June 25.
The book club will take place over two sessions. The discussions are capped at fifty people, so make sure to register soon! Registering once provides access to both sessions and is free and open to members. Late registration may be available after May 14th if the group has not yet met the cap.
The Building Healthy Places Book Club is generously supported by ULI Foundation Governor Randall Lewis.
