Opportunities for Students November 9, 2022
Established in 2002 through the generous gift of Harold A. Pollman, the Pollman Fellowship in Real Estate and Urban Development.
The ULI Curtis Infrastructure Initiative will be making a ‘design sprint’ to help develop a model for effective infrastructure-led development. The virtual session will be no more than 4 hours on Thursday, March 24th starting at 11:00 am EST.
The goal will be to identify those key decision-making points that the real estate industry has the most influence on to proactively support forward-looking infrastructure investment, enabling more equitable and resilient outcomes that create long-term real estate and community value. The model is intended to build on the concepts and focus areas identified within ULI’s Prioritizing Effective Infrastructure-Led Development publication. This process recognizes that the quality of infrastructure and consumer demand are critical drivers for real estate development.
This opportunity provides students to engage by participating in the next steps of taking the lessons identified and turning them into the actual model. This could be in the form of design, writing, and thought leadership. Students can then use the work product experience as an addition to their resume.
