NEXT
NEXT supports the ULI mission by identifying, connecting, and elevating the next generation of leaders for the built environment and ULI globally. NEXT engages and supports mid-career professionals in all of ULI’s activities.

ULI NEXT is a distinct membership group, where mid-career leaders can engage in discussions around topics that impact their businesses, help them develop professionally, and support a deeper understanding of the community in which they live. The affinity group provides members the platform for both formal and informal discussions around ways to better engage with ULI, build upon previous leadership and participation opportunities offered through the Young Leaders Group, and also differentiates in ways that are beneficial to this distinct group of members looking to continue overall engagement and contribution to ULI.

NEXT Programming Themes
To support the NEXT initiative in the Americas region, the Americas NEXT Leadership Steering Committee (LSC) was created and is comprised of mid-career professionals across the Americas to help support the growth and engagement of this member cohort across local district councils. It is also responsible for organizing relevant programming for NEXT Americas members at the Fall and Spring Meeting, as well as regular virtual content throughout the year.
The group distinguishes itself from other ULI networking groups by having defined four unique programming themes to drive purposeful engagement for members who consider themselves “mid-career.”
ULI Annual Fund
Supporting the ULI NEXT Americas through annual giving is one of the most powerful ways you can make an impact. Unrestricted contributions to the ULI Annual Fund ensure that NEXT has the resources to acknowledge opportunities and address unforeseen challenges with the expediency that would otherwise not be possible.
Donors can choose to designate their contribution specifically to the NEXT program, ensuring that their gift is personally meaningful, or make an unrestricted donation with the assurance that it will be applied to meet ULI’s greatest needs.
