WASHINGTON (January 14, 2014) – The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Greenprint Center for Building Performance, a worldwide alliance of leading real estate owners, investors and financial institutions committed to improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions across the global property industry, has announced the addition of Skanska as its newest innovation partner.
Skanska is a global project development and construction group with expertise in construction, development of commercial and residential projects, and public-private partnerships. “At Skanska we work hard to make sure the communities where we live and work can thrive for generations,” said Skanska USA President and Chief Executive Officer Mike McNally. “It was an easy choice to join with others from the private sector who appreciate that driving toward a sustainable future is good for business, good for our kids and for our kids’ kids.”
Skanska joins other Greenprint innovation partners the Deutsche Bank Group, Gensler, and Lutron as part of the center’s Innovation Roundtable. The roundtable promotes increased awareness of innovative technologies and best operating practices to reduce energy and carbon emissions.
