The Urban Open Space Awards Jury typically consists of eight to fourteen ULI members who are highly experienced in their fields. Members of the jury are recognized leaders who represent a broad geographic diversity and many areas of real estate development expertise. The jury meets twice. The first meeting occurs in the spring where they select finalists. Before the second meeting, at least one juror visits each of the finalist projects in person. Once the visits are complete, the jury reconvenes in late summer or early fall to select the winners.
