Peter A. Pappas is currently CEO of Terwilliger Pappas Multifamily Partners. Prior to Terwilliger Pappas Multifamily Partners, Pappas founded Pappas Properties in 1999 after seven years as partner at The Harris Group. While there, Pappas led his team in developing a number of successful projects including Phillips Place; Ballantyne, a 2,000-acre mixed-use community; Morrocroft, a 178-acre multi-use project; 330 South Tryon. Other notable projects include the Michelin North American Headquarters; Birkdale Village; and the Metropolitan. Prior to The Harris Group, Pappas was a vice president with The Bissell Companies and president of its land development subsidiary, Investment Mortgage Company.

Pappas is active in the development community and has received the Realtor Citizenship Award and the recipient of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Realtor of the Year. He is a trustee of ULI, past chair of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and member of the North Carolina Board of Transit.
