NEXT Committee Interviews: ULI Virginia
NEXT Virginia shares the highs and lows of starting a new NEXT group in an exclusive Q&A.
ULI is proud to mark the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrate our esteemed Latino/a/x and Hispanic members, dedicated staff, and invaluable contributors to the real estate community. What once began as a weeklong observance, initially declared by President Lyndon Johnson in 1968, has since evolved into a month-long celebration. From September 15th through October 15th, we recognize the generations of Hispanic and Latino/a/x Americans whose roots extend across Spain, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
Over the coming weeks, we will proudly spotlight members and projects that have left an indelible mark, exemplifying the impact of Latino/a/x and Hispanic professionals in our industry.
ULI is committed to pursuing unrelenting efforts to shape the built environment toward diverse, equitable, and inclusive communities. We continue to believe that current and future industry actions can—and must—remedy the impact of exclusionary practices that have affected the Hispanic community in the real estate industry and thereby create access and foster unity.
This month, we invite you to join us in honoring our Hispanic and Latinx members and recognizing their invaluable contributions to the commercial real estate community. Stay engaged across our platforms for more related content and educational opportunities throughout the coming weeks.
