Several of ULI’s District Councils will be hosting events to showcase our newest report, Building for Wellness: The Business Case. This report highlights 13 projects of varying product type and scale that were developed with health and wellness in mind. In a series of profiles, developers share their motivation for incorporating a variety of health and wellness features, how these features factored into the overall development and operations process, and how the market has responded.
Building for Wellness finds that the health component costs were a minimal percentage of the overall development budget, and that the market response exceeded expectations. The report examines design strategies as well as programming and operations aspects of the included projects.
Past and upcoming events featuring the report and the Building Healthy Places Initiative are listed below. Where available, resources and press from the events are included.
