In the age of viral-ready office perks such as treadmill desks, kombucha on tap, and dog-friendly workplaces, it’s sometimes hard to determine what tenants are really (and realistically) requesting. With the wide variety of tenant amenities on the market, how do developers make sure they’re including the proper features to ensure tenant demand and high occupancy? How do they avoid bubble trends and select long-term wins for their buildings? One answer: ensuring that all occupants have ample access to natural daylight, enjoy high indoor air quality, and have access to natural or city-scape views from their workspaces.
