Former Washington, D.C. Mayor, Anthony Williams, is the 2020 recipient of the ULI Prize for Visionaries in Urban Development. He is widely credited with leading D.C.’s comeback during his two terms, restoring the District’s finances while dramatically improving city services. Mayor Williams currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal City Council, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of civic life in the nation’s capital.
