ULI Utility and Green Power Convenings
Convening leaders from real estate and power utilities to facilitate increased green energy flowing to development projects.
With this ongoing series of events, ULI brings together utility providers and real estate leaders in specific markets to increase renewable energy available for development projects.
As real estate firms set decarbonization goals for net zero carbon operations, renewable energy is proving to be a more and more important part of the journey to achieve it. On-site renewables only get buildings so far and off-site PPAs can be quite complicated – sourcing green power directly from the utility could help real estate meet its net zero goals in streamlined way, at scale.
These events, which will take place in cities across the U.S., will focus on understanding existing barriers and brainstorming solutions that are mutually beneficial for both real estate and utility providers.
