    Mark Bhasin

    NYU Stern School of Business

    Mark K. Bhasin, CFA, FRM, CAIA, FDP, CMT, ERP, PRM, LEED Green Associate, WELL AP is currently Senior Vice-President and Chief Underwriter of Agency Multifamily Finance for Basis Investment Group, LLC, a multi-strategy commercial real estate finance platform based in New York. In his career, Mr. Bhasin has underwritten and closed over $500 million in agency and CMBS loans on multifamily properties throughout the United States. He has worked at Basis since February 2010 and served as its Co-Deputy Chief Underwriter of Agency Multifamily Finance from June 2020 to November 2021. Mr. Bhasin has spent over 20 years in the finance and real estate sectors. Mark has also worked at CWCapital, GMAC Commercial Mortgage, and PaineWebber. At PaineWebber, Mark participated in the firm’s Investment Banking Analyst Training Program. While an undergraduate student at NYU, Mark worked part time for two years at Kidder Peabody & Co. in its CMO/MBS research group. Mark is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business where he teaches the Real Estate Primary Markets course in the MBA and undergraduate programs. Mark is also an owner in Delos, which is the founder of the WELL Building Standard (WELL certification), WELL Health-Safety rating, WELL AP credential, and International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). Mr. Bhasin is a former Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Development at Columbia University where he lectured in real estate finance. He is a former Lecturer at SUNY Stony Brook where he taught MBA corporate finance courses. Mr. Bhasin is a graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business where he earned his Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting. While at Stern, he was an Alumni Scholar and member of Beta Alpha Psi.     Anita Kramer

    Senior Vice President, ULI Center for Real Estate Economics and Capital Markets, Urban Land Institute

    Anita Kramer Senior Director, ULI Center for Capital Markets & Real Estate ULI – the Urban Land Institute Washington, DC Anita Kramer is Senior Vice President, ULI Center for Capital Markets and Real Estate. In this position she directs and manages three programs: Emerging Trends Americas, the semi-annual ULI Real Estate Economic Forecast, and the new Deal Profile program. In addition, she provides support to the ULI/McCoy Symposium on Real Estate Finance, the Shaw Forum, and addresses topics at the intersection of capital markets and the priorities of other ULI Centers. Ms. Kramer joined ULI as the Senior Director of Retail and Mixed-Use Development. She directed research, education and programs in the area of retail and mixed-use development and was responsible for the annual Dollars & Cents of Shopping Centers, and the Retail Development Handbook, Retail Opens Up! The Shape of Today’s Open-Air Retail Centers and Residential Over Retail: How to Make It Work. Ms. Kramer also co-produced ULI’s annual Reinventing Retail conference. Prior to joining ULI, Ms. Kramer was a consultant, performing economic and financial analyses for both private and public clients involved in development and land use strategies. She founded Anita Kramer & Associates, following her position as Vice President of the Natelson Company in Los Angeles. Ms. Kramer holds a Master's in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University where she specialized in Housing and Community Development. She received her B.A. in Economics and Urban Studies from the University of Rochester.
