Wendy Bauerschmidt is currently a Partner at DRG, a development consulting firm as well as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Charleston where she teaches Real Estate in the Community Planning, Policy and Design Program.  Between 2010 and 2016 she served as Operations Manager for Full Potential Healthcare and The DEEPER Healing Institute of Medicine, Functional & Environmental medicine practices that she owned with her physician husband. Having seen first-hand the effects of toxins on human health, Wendy is passionate about increasing public awareness and moving the building industry towards healthy buildings and communities.

Prior to her venture into environmental medicine & wellness, Wendy spent 25 years in investment real estate and  residential development spanning the US, Caribbean and Europe. She oversaw land acquisition and entitlements for 1,200 residential units, acquisition of over $350 million of commercial properties and acquisition due diligence and asset management for over $1 billion of distressed mortgage debt.

Wendy received a Bachelor of Arts in Design of the Environment from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
