ULI Welcomes New Members of the Global Board of Directors and Governing Trustees
Both the Global Board members and Global Governing Trustees will serve on a voluntary basis beginning on July 1, 2021.

WASHINGTON D.C. (JULY 8, 2021) – Five real estate industry leaders have joined the Americas Executive Committee (AEC) of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a global membership organization whose mission is to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
The AEC provides guidance on the strategic direction of ULI’s program throughout the Americas region, which serves nearly 40,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America and South America.
The number of senior real estate professionals serving on the Committee has expanded to 21, with new members including members-at-large Collette English Dixon, executive director, Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL; Karen Horstmann, head of equity acquisitions, Allianz Real Estate GmbH, New York, NY; Ashley Lawrence, managing director, head of Canada Real Estate, Brookfield Asset Management, Toronto, Canada; Adam Weers, COO, Trammell Crow Company, Washington, D.C.; and incoming global chair Peter Ballon, global head of real estate, CPP Investments, Toronto, Canada, who is an ex-officio member.
The new AEC members will be joining existing Committee members, including ULI Americas Chair Jonathan H.
