Project: Business Case for Resilience for Southeast Florida

ULI is partnering with the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact to launch the Business Case for Resilience in Southeast Florida project. The project aims to close gaps in the regional economic evaluation of flood risk and exposure, with the specific inclusion of sea level rise.

As the overall project manager for the project, ULI’s Urban Resilience program is seeking an economic modeling consultant/team to perform an analysis of:

• Economic risks of flooding and the augmentation of that risk due to sea level rise
• Economic benefit of resilience action as a function of risk reduction and avoided economic losses
• Economic opportunities associated with resilience investments

The conducted analysis will be included in a final report, synthesized by ULI, with national research findings and designed for readership by a broad land use, real estate, resilience, and policy maker audience.
