Tapping Federal Funds to Bring Equitable Infrastructure to St. Paul’s Rondo Neighborhood
Data storytelling and metric development showing need for equitable investment.
March marks the beginning of Women’s History Month, a time to both reaffirm and uphold the historical importance, achievements, and influence of women on the built environment. This month, ULI is amplifying people and projects that have worked to advance gender equity and parity in the commercial real estate industry. From the dynamic programs organized by district councils throughout the nation to the authorship of articles on global issues affecting the built environment, the contributions of women in the real estate industry are evident.
We are committed to pursuing unrelenting efforts to shape the built environment toward diverse, equitable, inclusive communities. Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are the pillars of truly sustainable, thriving communities. In a male-dominated industry, we must intentionally acknowledge the significant role of women in real estate.
Our commitment to addressing the industry’s gender gap is formally seen through the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI). This year we are celebrating WLI’s 10-year anniversary, reflecting on a decade of supporting the professional development of women throughout their careers and increasing the visibility of women leaders within ULI and the real estate industry.
Over the years, WLI has implemented impactful programs like the Prologis Achievement Award, honoring select groups of women by recognizing their leadership and accomplishments within our organization. At our Spring Meeting in April, our community of industry professionals will have the opportunity to join in celebrating this year’s awardees, hear from women who are dynamic leaders, and participate in unique, WLI-centered programming.
We are excited to spotlight the ongoing contributions of women and allies who work tirelessly to gain further ground to ensure that the voices of women are heard in the upcoming weeks.
Join us across our platforms as we celebrate Women’s History Month and the immense progress made by a community of people who have continuously demonstrated resilience and fortitude.
