ULI members are doing innovative work related to ‘third places’, and we want to hear from you. We are asking interested ULI members to submit privately owned and managed ‘third place’ projects that can be studied to further inform and enhance our ULI/Bucksbaum research project looking at the intersections of health and privately owned third places. To contextualize the research and data, we will intertwine stories including lived-experiences and personal reflections of visitors and community members in ‘third places’, and we will recognize the professional roles or connections ULI members have to the ‘third place’. We will use a flexible, participatory, self-directed approach to gather stories, welcoming all mediums of storytelling including but not limited to: photos, videos, conversations, interviews, emails, and various forms of artistic expression.
Please fill out the form below to receive updates about the project findings or to submit a ‘third place’ or strategy to be showcased. If submitting a project for consideration, we ask that you complete the form by Friday, December 11th. We’d appreciate hearing your perspective, and we look forward to collaborating with you to provide accessible information and resources to help you build healthy communities.
