Todd Kohli is an award-winning landscape architect and Principal with SmithGroup. He has a with a wide range of experience in landscape, urban, and masterplan design, based out of San Francisco. He employs a multidisciplinary approach in his work, providing innovative, functional solutions for complex projects and creating appealing designs that bring people together. His practice focuses on public open space design for a variety of project types from mixed-use to waterfront, as well as university, healthcare, and corporate. Todd has garnered multiple awards, like the ULI Global Excellence award for Tokyo Midtown, and is an accomplished author and speaker through various global outlets on the topic of landscape architecture’s impact on society. Todd’s involvement in ULI spans from the Young Leader’s Group in San Francisco where he held multiple roles, to being on San Francisco’s executive committee, a mentor each year to the local young leader’s group, is a founding member of the ULI NEXT Global initiative and is part of the University Development and Innovation Council.
