About

The mission of the Curtis Infrastructure Initiative is to identify and promote infrastructure solutions that make cities more resilient, sustainable, equitable, and enhance long-term real estate value.

Endowed through a gift from long-time Infrastructure leader Jim Curtis, the Initiative’s scope of work includes two primary objectives: To provide research and practical tools to help ULI members advance infrastructure investment and new solutions, and to directly support member engagement at the local level through multi-year District Council engagement campaigns.

Jim believed that “we shape our infrastructure, and thereafter our infrastructure shapes us.” By proactively engaging with public and private sector leaders and the communities in which they operate, ULI’s infrastructure initiative aims to help our members leverage infrastructure solutions to make their communities more sustainable, resilient, and economically prosperous.
