To navigate these complexities and reduce risk, it's essential to understand and support the development of social resilience, which can reduce vulnerability and is a key determinant of a community’s ability to withstand climate hazards. Real estate leaders can intentionally understand and support the development of social resilience through data and investment in social infrastructure as a climate strategy to reduce risk and support community capacity to respond to hazards and improve quality of life.
