ULI Executive Convening
Building Stronger Partnerships Between Construction & Developer Industries – Focusing Collective Energy to Reduce Carbon
With this convening, ULI brings together executives in the construction and developer fields to build a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities of focusing collective energy to reduce carbon emissions in developments. This event launches the first of many convenings to build stronger partnerships across the industry: stronger partnerships between construction and developer leaders can enable accelerated advancement on sustainability improvements and beyond.
Attendees are not expected to be expert in embodied carbon or sustainability (in fact, ESG leads are purposefully not invited), but are asked to bring a mindset willing to learn and engage on the topic. The group will share examples of positive partnerships between construction and developers to drive carbon emissions reductions and inspire further action in alignment with the ULI Mission Priority of net zero by 2050for the building sector. This convening aims to build top-down leadership and momentum on this issue.
