ULI’s Vice President for Infrastructure Rachel MacCleery has been selected to serve on the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Infrastructure.

The WEF Global Agenda Councils make up the world’s foremost intellectual network, convening the most relevant and knowledgeable thought leaders from business, government, academia and civil society to address key global issues. The World Economic Forum encourages businesses, governments and civil society to work together to improve the state of the world.

The forums advise world leaders on pressing policy challenges. WEF’s several dozen Global Agenda Councils are organized around issues such as food security, global trade, and infrastructure, as well as by region. Council members convene throughout the year, and meet in person in the United Arab Emirates in November.

World Economic Forum research and guidance, shaped by the Councils and the WEF staff, provides critical information to help inform policy and investment decision making by global leaders. “I am honored to be a part of the Global Agenda Council for Infrastructure,” Rachel MacCleery said. “I will be bringing the interdisciplinary perspective of ULI, with its emphasis on public/private solutions and land use, to the WEF discussions.”
