At ULI, we know that supporting aspiring commercial real estate leaders early in their collegiate journey can make a world of difference—both to the students themselves and the future of the CRE industry as a whole.
Through our University Connections program, we connect higher education institutions and individual students to ULI programs and resources that help further our shared priority of championing the next generation of diverse real estate leaders.
From comprehensive education and training designed for students to networking opportunities, competitions, and internships, ULI’s programming serves as an introduction to the field of commercial real estate and its many career pathways for those who are exploring it.

“The ULI Hines Student Competition provides great exposure to many of the basic principles of planning and design (zoning, property lines, height limits, etc.) that are not often seriously tackled in an architecture program. Its deliverables and format for forming teams that cross business and design disciplines are a great “forced collaboration” for the students, again merging much with the professional work of their future.”
