San Francisco, CA - Advisory Services Panel
The crisis facing downtown San Francisco is felt in urban areas across the country.
ULI proudly stands in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ community members, staff, and allies as we honor and celebrate Pride throughout the month of June. Pride represents a time of liberation, and this year marks the commemoration of the 54th anniversary of the monumental Stonewall uprising in 1969.
ULI celebrated the outstanding LGBTQIA+ events organized by the ULI Americas Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at the recent Spring Meeting in Toronto. These events embraced and honored the LGBTQ+ community, fostering connections and a sense of belonging. The LGBTQ+ Nightcap provided a safe and inclusive space for individuals to connect and feel a true sense of belonging. The session It Will Take a Village: Building and Protecting 2SLGBTQ+ Spaces explored the importance of queer spaces in Toronto and beyond.
By highlighting these events and discussions, ULI affirms its commitment to fostering diverse, inclusive, and vibrant communities within the built environment. We recognize the vital role that queer spaces play in promoting acceptance, unity, and the well-being of the LGBTQIA+ community.
As we take a moment to reflect on the remarkable contributions and celebrate the accomplishments of the LGBTQIA+ community, we invite you to delve into the rich history of Pride through valuable resources available through the Library of Congress.
This month, we invite you to join us in honoring our LGBTQIA+ members and recognizing their invaluable contributions to the commercial real estate community.
