Noreen Richards is an Architect, LEED AP BD+C, Associate, and Project Manager with Verdacity, LLC, a sustainability consulting firm based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is actively involved in the development and reinforcement of Verdacity’s vision and mission which is built on the belief that buildings can positively contribute to human and environmental health. Noreen has extensive experience in coordinating and integrating building systems, regulatory and programmatic requirements, and other criteria to support performance, efficiency, and health. Her expertise in green building project management, green criteria for rating systems, energy analysis, and developing strategies for meeting high-performance benchmarks provides a solid foundation for working with clients to achieve their goals.
Noreen has recent experience participating in Harvard University’s Building for Health Cohort program, and in developing community leadership events with professionals at the University of Virginia School of Public Health and the U.S. Green Building Council to introduce the Integrated Process for Health Promotion innovation credit to local policy-makers. Additionally, she was a facilitator in the implementation of State of New Mexico Executive Green Building Executive Order and served as faculty at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning developing and teaching sustainability curriculum.
