November marks National Native American Heritage Month, also referred to as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. In 1990, President George H.W. Bush approved designation of November as “National American Indian Heritage Month” after decades of persistence by various Native tribes to recognize the significant contributions of the first Americans to the growth of the United States. This month is a time to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native people.
ULI is proud to celebrate with our Native American, American Indian, and Alaska Native members and staff, as well as contributors to the real estate community.
