Michele is the Project Coordinator in the Design & Planning Department at Cleveland Metroparks where she manages and tracks the capital project development process across the Park District and zoo facilities. In her prior role, she was Project Manager in the Capital, Construction & Facilities Department at Cuyahoga Community College where she managed multiple design projects spanning from new construction and renovation to infrastructure improvements as a part of the college’s multi-million dollar capital bond campaign. Her greater professional experiences range from residential construction, hospitality and educational design to construction management and community engagement.
Michele is passionate about learning and understanding strategies that create balanced spaces that encompass dignity for all. Her commitment to community was sparked by 2 service terms in the Americorps Program and currently extends through participation in multiple arts organizations and community boards as well as youth mentorship programs. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). Michele has a Master of Architecture degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University.
