Kirk Monroe is the Executive Director of Banking Services at Vectra Bank Colorado, where he leads teams of high performing individuals across the State of Colorado in Vectra Bank’s high-revenue units of Corporate Real Estate, Private Banking and Treasury Management. Additionally, Kirk oversees the bank’s Loan Documentation group, Credit Analysis teams and the Corporate Social Responsibility efforts for the bank.
Having been with Vectra’s parent company Zions Bancorporation since 1998, Monroe has spent the past several years successfully tying together separate bank divisions to operate with a more synergistic approach. The result has been deeper relationships with clients and the ability to provide customers the value of a broader range of expertise and proficiencies.
Monroe currently sits on the Vectra Bank Advisory Board, is a Board Member of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (EDC), the EDC’s Board of Governors, the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Investment Committee, an active Advisory Board Member of The Other Side Academy – Denver (TOSA), which is a 501c(3) nonprofit, social enterprise, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Colorado Advisory Board, and is a former mentor with the ULI Partnership Forum. Previously, Monroe volunteered with Daniels College of Business Executive Mentor Program and was the ULI Colorado’s Treasurer and District Chair.
Monroe has an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. He has a master’s degree in international business from the American Graduate School of International Management (aka Thunderbird) and is a 2015 graduate of the ABA Stonier Executive Banking School, including a Leadership Certificate from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
