Kathrine Morris is currently a Relationship Manager at NeighborWorks America in the Sothern Region, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Before that, she worked for the Atlanta Beltline working with diverse communities, partners and residents at the intersection of housing, economic development, and transportation. Kathrine currently serves as the Regional lead for the NeighborWorks America Healthy Homes and Communities National Initiatives. In this role she is responsible for ensuring that community development corporations receive training, one-on-one coaching, and technical assistance through our Healthy Homes and Community Building initiatives. She is instrumental in providing information, resources and facilitation to NeighborWorks organizations that are helping to frame the health and housing work on a regional perspective. toolkit that will share our findings and help NeighborWorks understand health, housing. Kathrine has committed herself to focus on work that advances healthy living and healthy communities especially in areas with significant disinvestment.
Kathrine has over 8 years of experience in the community development field ranging from public health, health advocacy, community engagement, transportation and policy. Kathrine aims to be a bridge builder, finding ways to connect residents, communities, and the likes to all the opportunities and resources to increase their quality of life.
Kathrine has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Emory University and a master’s degree in Strategic communication from American University.
