Kabin is the newest residential addition to Taxi, a former Yellow Cab depot that has been transformed by Zeppelin Development over 20-years into a vibrant, mixed-use community of likeminded creatives and over 150 businesses shaping industries like sustainability, tech, design, architecture, social enterprise and the arts.
Kabin is home to 194 one– and two–bedroom apartments that address next-generation living through efficient, design-driven solutions. Total square footage measures in at 110,665 sq. ft. or 27,666 sq. ft. per floor. Each Nordic-inspired residence comes equipped with glass garage doors that open its living spaces to gardens, fresh air, and stunning mountain and city views, taking advantage of Colorado’s 300-days of sunshine per year. Daylight illuminates through the minimalist, relaxed interiors. With soaring ceilings, open-plan living spaces, and day-lit showers, these loft-like apartments pair polished concrete with the warm patina of cedar giving the comfort of a cabin amongst an urban dwelling.
Designed by award-winning Dynia Architects – known for their detailed, multi-million–dollar modern homes in Jackson Hole – Kabin brings smart, high-level design solutions to a smaller footprint and adds to the cultural fabric of Taxi by connecting residents to its 28-acre, mixed-use community. Known for its business incubation with creative companies like BOA and the Nature Conservancy, hundreds of residents, hotel-style amenities including two culinary concepts, Comal Heritage Food Incubator and Lost City, community gardens, three dog parks, bike storage, fitness center, steam room, shipping container pool, Early Childhood Education Center, plenty of green space and a hair salon.
