Key Activities
|
• Establish partnership with local CBO and/or government agency to be the TAP sponsor
• Host the TAP focused on addressing climate resilience and inequity; Nominated local member advisers provide coaching to the sponsor
• Convene with the cohort to share lessons learned from TAPs, nurture recommendations into action, grow networks, and share resources
|
• Establish Leadership Committee and identify TAP sponsor
• Host a TAP approximately mid-way through the program
• Convene at least two member-facing programs focused on parks featuring ULI resources
• Participate in cross-cohort learning Exchanges
|
Program Timeline
|
• 18 months, starting in spring 2022
• Timeline includes hosting a TAP and efforts supporting the implementation of TAP recommendations

• 12 months, starting spring 2022
• After 12 months, a separate funding opportunity to support implementation of select technical assistance recommendations will be available

Funding
|
• $10,000 for each participating District Council to cover direct expenses and staff time
• No match required, although local funding would create additional opportunities to support the TAP and implementation process

• $12,000 - $15,000+ to each participating District Council

• Additional funding
for the implementation of select TAP recommendations will become available in a future program phase

• Strategies for a community or specific site to address coastal flooding
• Urban design, planning, or zoning approaches to address extreme heat
• Implementation and funding models for a climate adaptation plan or a resilience strategy
• Finance, funding, and implementation strategies for green infrastructure or flood infrastructure
• Provide real estate sector input into upcoming resilience strategies or other planning initiatives
