Over 200 people gathered at New York City’s iconic Helmsley Building on June 19 as ULI New York kicked off the season with its Summer Social.

It was an evening of celebration as members and guests saluted outgoing ULI New York Chairman Richard Kessler for his leadership and commitment over the past three years. Mr. Kessler, the chief operating officer at Benenson Capital Partners LLC and a longtime ULI New York leader, concluded his term after successfully spearheading the launch of the District Council’s Local Product Council program.

Attendees, in conjunction with Mr. Kessler, welcomed ULI New York’s new leadership. Robert C. Lieber, the executive managing director of the Island Capital Group and longtime ULI leader at the national level, will assume the role of chair on July 1.
