Exploring ‘10 Principles for Embedding Racial Equity in Real Estate Development’
September 6-15, 2022
Development success and racial equity are increasingly linked. This fall, immerse yourself in ULI’s new report 10 Principles for Embedding Racial Equity in Real Estate Development. The report shares 10 guiding ideas that can help developers, investors, and other practitioners make racial equity a central part of their real estate practice. Each principle distills insights from industry leaders and includes specific best practices that can be applied to different sectors, markets, and geographies.
Over the course of two weeks, Book Club participants will read the report on their own and reflect on five principles at a time. The deep dive culminates in a 90-minute virtual workshop led by Tiffany Young, ULI social equity advisor and CEO of Think Equity. Together workshop participants will explore the opportunities and challenges for driving the industry toward more equitable and racially just community outcomes.
The Schedule: September 6-15, 2022
Registration is free. Registered participants receive a Book Club 101 message, weekly Thought Prompts, and a link to attend the Virtual Workshop led by Tiffany Young.
The ULI Building Healthy Places Book & Film Club is made possible by the generous support of ULI Foundation Governor Randall Lewis.
