ULI LA Young Leaders Group invites you to participate in the 6th annual YLG Real Estate Shark Tank, an interactive, one-of-a-kind event that aims to entertain while educating, advising, and empowering aspiring real estate tech entrepreneurs. This year, the presenters will represent emerging technologies from CRE PropTech!
Join us and watch as a panel of expert “Sharks” analyze seed/early-stage real estate tech companies using the same methodologies typical in closed-door product pitches. The Sharks will be representative of various backgrounds—finance, investment, users (CRE investors/developers), and technology —to give the candidate(s) a comprehensive set of constructive feedback. Take a peek behind those doors as the “Sharks” employ their years of experience to critique proposals and give insight for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Builder Intel is quickly becoming the primary source of construction cost data for developers & GCs. Made possible through its innovative "data co-operative" model, Builder Intel is akin to how the modern Bloomberg terminal got its start in finance democratizing bond pricing. Andrew has a deep background in real estate principal investing and currently leads business development for a generative design tool for real estate developers at Google's Sidewalk Labs.
SkyVest aims to be the first DeFi brokerage working between the decentralized banking system and institutional real estate funds. Jake started his career at Marcus & Millichap as a research analyst working on institutional quality deals in all asset types across the country. A little over a year ago, Jake left Marcus & Millichap to dive into the world of Web3. Since then, he has consulted for RedSwan and several metaverse companies while formulating SkyVest’s direction.
