Reisa is a managing director and head of Americas business and investment operations for Nuveen Real Estate. Located in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office, she leads investment governance and operations, supports the planning, coordination and execution of U.S. business process and initiatives. Reisa is a member of the Global Executive Leadership and the Americas Executive Leadership teams and also serves as the chief of staff to the head of Nuveen Real Estate, Americas and is the central point of contact for senior leaders. In prior roles, Reisa has served as head of human resources for Nuveen Real Estate Americas, where she was responsible for leading all human resources programs and initiatives, including compensation, talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, and learning/training for the U.S. real estate and private investment teams. In addition to implementing people management strategies, Reisa ensured that firm policies and procedures were implemented across the business area including the annual promotion, performance review, and compensation processes. Reisa graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Hofstra University an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Phoenix and a certificate of financial planning from Queens College. She also holds the Series 26, 7 and 6 securities registrations.
Lisa Y. Gordon, CPA, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlanta Habitat for Humanity—one of the top 10 Habitat for Humanity International affiliates in the United States. She is a recognized leader in transformational real estate development efforts creating high-quality public and private legacy projects. In her role at Atlanta Habitat, Lisa focuses on quality affordable housing, creating community spaces and neighborhood revitalization. Because of her visionary leadership, Atlanta Habitat is focused on increasing homeownership, investing in targeted neighborhoods, and building the organization’s capacity to preserve quality affordable housing options in metro Atlanta. The organization recently completed a $15.5 million capital campaign and launched a $25 million subdivision with a development partner. Gordon has quadrupled the number of families served in four years and has a goal to serve over 1,000 additional families in five years. Lisa serves as the District Council Chair of Urban Land Institute Atlanta and is a national ULI Americas Executive Committee member. She is a Co-Chair of the national ULI Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council and a Board Advisor for the Terwilliger Center for Housing. Additionally, she is Chair of the U.S. Council Advocacy Committee for Habitat for Humanity International. Lisa is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and serves as Expert Adviser for national studies and work commissioned by the U.S. Congress. She is a member of The Maxwell School Advisory Board, International Women’s Forum, Leadership Atlanta, and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). Lisa has received numerous awards and recognized for her leadership as one of Atlanta Magazine’s Top 500 Leaders in 2019-2020, Atlanta Business Chronicle 2018 Women Who Mean Business, The YWCA of Greater Atlanta 2017 Academy of Women Achievers, and Bisnow magazine’s Top 40 most influential women in commercial real estate in 2014. She is a national speaker and a published author that includes op-eds in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Summer Haltli is responsible for leading FCP with a forward-thinking focus on the organization’s strategy, operations, fund management, communications, and company culture. Sustainability leadership includes implementing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) best practices and reporting to its stakeholders. As Senior Vice President, Summer oversees FCP’s Sustainability, Diversity, Inclusion & Retention and FCP SERVES committees. Since joining FCP in 2010, Summer has developed and implemented value-add business plans for over 7,000 multifamily units and mixed-use projects totaling over $1.5 billion of value. She has successfully executed over $1 billion in disposition and refinancing transactions while leading FCP’s ESG efforts. Summer is an active member of the Urban Land Institute Center for Building Performance and the National Multifamily Housing Conference. She also serves as an Advisory Board member for the annual Kayo Women in Real Estate Summit. Summer received her MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and her BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Prior work experience includes portfolio management at Bentall Kennedy and underwriting over $1 billion in office investment sales transactions at Jones Lang LaSalle.
Mihail Tonchev is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Kempen Capital Management’s Real Assets team based out of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He co-manages both the Global and European property funds where ESG has been integrated since 2011. His listed real estate coverage spans Europe as well as Canada and the US as does his previous working experience. Prior to joining Kempen, Mihail spent time as a sell-side research analyst covering European equities. Prior to that he worked at Grosvenor in London as part of their long/short REIT hedge fund. His career started in Montreal, Canada working as a REIT analyst in an income oriented long-only fund.
Erin is a Managing Director and head of the Management Consulting group within Ferguson Partners, based in the firm’s Chicago office. In this role, she is responsible for leading client engagements related to organizational structure and design, generational transitions and ownership transfers, governance structures, strategic planning, and specialized research, among others. In her time at Ferguson Partners, Erin has worked on hundreds of engagements with clients ranging from large, institutionally owned firms to regional, family-owned firms to private partnerships. Her focus is on partnering with her clients to solve the critical business issues hindering performance and driving positive outcomes for the future. Prior to joining Ferguson Partners, Erin worked at Berry Global, Inc., where she was responsible for new business development and managing relationships with corporate clients. Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Michigan State University. When she’s not working, Erin enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
