    Bill Maher

    William J. Maher Director, Strategy & Research Mr. Maher is currently the head of real estate investment strategy and research at RCLCO. He is responsible for forecasting economic and market conditions and for developing investment strategies for the firm's institutional clients. He also serves on RCLCO's Investment Committee. Previous Positions During mid-2020, Bill Maher was the the lead researcher and writer for the US section of Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2021. After interviewing industry leaders and analyzing other interviews and survey data, Bill wrote the main chapters of Emerging Trends. Through January 2020, Bill Maher was Director of Americas Research & Strategy for LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle) in Baltimore, MD. LaSalle invests in real estate assets and securities on behalf of public and private pension funds and other institutional and retail investors. Mr. Maher directs research and strategy efforts in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Mr. Maher is responsible developing real estate investment strategy and direction, and oversees a team that provides market analysis for existing and potential new investments. In addition to leading research efforts throughout North America, he works with clients to develop custom real estate investment and portfolio strategies. Bill is a member of LaSalle’s North American Investment Committee, and is a principal author of LaSalle’s Investment Strategy Annual and numerous white papers and reports. Prior to joining LaSalle Investment Management, Mr. Maher was a partner with Ernst & Young and director of the Real Estate Consulting Group's Washington, D.C. office. He managed the Group's efforts in the fields of strategic planning, market and financial feasibility assessment, portfolio due diligence and corporate real estate. Before that, Mr. Maher was Executive Vice President and director of the Washington, D.C. office of Halcyon Ltd., a real estate consulting and services firm. Education Mr. Maher is a graduate of Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, MA, holding a Master's degree in Urban Planning, with distinction.     Paige Mueller

    Managing Principal, Eigen10 Advisors, LLC

    Paige Mueller leads a real estate consulting practice focusing on investment and market analyses, capital formation strategies, and ESG services. She has decades of experience working with both LPs and GPs, including the development of a pension consulting practice, and work at GIC Real Estate, one of the largest global sovereign wealth firms. Prior to GIC, she was at LaSalle Investment Management, providing support for investment, brokerage, REIT, site selection and knowledge management teams. She graduated with an MBA in Finance from Indiana University, is recognized as a CRE and Hoyt Fellow, and is a frequent industry publisher and speaker.

    William Pattison

    Head of Research & Strategy, MetLife Investment Management

    William Pattison is a managing director and head of the real estate research & strategy team within the risk, research & analytics group of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). He is responsible for research and strategy development in support of MIM’s real estate equity and debt platforms. In this role, he works closely with MIM's real estate regional offices and portfolio managers to craft the strategic house view, project capital market trends, and develop investment strategies that seek to maximize returns while minimizing market, rate, and liquidity risks. As a member of the Investment Committee, William is responsible for reviewing and voting on all U.S. real estate acquisitions. Prior to joining MetLife in 2015, William worked for ten years in the real estate group at Aegon Real Assets.

    Sabrina Unger

    Managing Director, Head of Research & Strategy, American Realty Advisors

    Sabrina Unger, Managing Director, is the Head of Research & Strategy at American Realty Advisors and is responsible for leading the firm’s research initiatives and working closely with the firm’s Investment and Portfolio Management teams in developing investment analysis in support of new acquisitions and strategy implementation. Ms. Unger is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining ARA, Ms. Unger was a member of the Global Research team at Invesco Real Estate, charged with developing global portfolio strategies as well as authoring numerous thought leadership papers and contributing to the firm’s House View. Before that, she held positions as a member of the research team at Clarion Partners and as a top strategist for a sports entertainment company’s real estate divisions. She has been published in leading industry publications, including Real Assets Adviser, and the research publications of ANREV (Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles), NCREIF (National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries) and AFIRE (The Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate). Ms. Unger holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a master’s degree from DePaul University and has completed certificate coursework at both New York University and the London School of Economics.
