Erin is on a mission to cultivate health, well-being, and belonging through design. As Health & Well-being Design Leader at HKS, she uses her experience as an architect, researcher, and communicator to integrate research and practice to advance design for health, combat loneliness, and foster resilience.
Erin is active in giving back to the design for health community as a speaker, mentor, and board member, and was adjunct faculty at The Pratt Institute, and New York School of Interior Design, where she still serves on the Advisory Board, and is an Industry Scholar for Cornell’s Institute for Healthy Futures.
Erin delights in sharing knowledge and makes insights accessible to a wide audience. She uses her platform and network to advance understanding of how the built environment can catalyze health and well-being. Her work is featured in Psychology Today, TEDx, Metropolis, Curbed, NPR, Healthline, SXSW, and her own podcast, Shared Space.
