On the edges of Loring Park in downtown Minneapolis, lies an intimate and eclectic neighborhood housing the historic 1912 Eitel Hospital. Eitel Building City Apartments transforms and incorporates this historic structure into a collection of buildings serving up a new vision for urban lifestyle rental living with boutique hotel amenities. Beyond the restored exterior and transformed interiors, a portion of a 1967 addition was stripped down to its concrete structure and refurbished to become the celebrated heart of the development Within each of the 213 lifestyle apartments, an intentional gesture connects the living environment’s openness to the exterior surroundings. The building amenities, including a yoga room, indoor movie theater and Asian Zen garden, climax with a rooftop Sky Park and Sky Club, creating a final connection to the city beyond as an elevated extension of the natural park setting that Eitel Building City Apartments face.
