Marketing and Communications Forum
The objective of the ULI Marketing/Communications (MarCom) Forum is to bring together experienced real estate professionals who work in the marketing, branding, digital marketing, communications, public relations, and/or design functions in their organizations. The MarCom Forum provides an opportunity for these professionals to engage, learn, and share best practices and lessons learned with others in similar roles within the industry.
The MarCom Forum meets in person at every ULI Spring and Fall Meeting and has periodic virtual meetings throughout the year. Please note that the promotion of companies/services/products by members is prohibited*.
Topics of discussion can include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Crisis Management
- Branding and Marketing a New Development
- Branding a Redevelopment
- Creating a PR Campaign for a New Development and Redevelopment
- Effective Use of Social Media in the Real Estate Industry
- Effective Use of Public Relations for Building Owners and Developers
- Property Marketing Best Practices
- The Importance of Customer Engagement in the Post-Pandemic World
- Digital Marketing Trends for Real Estate
- Your Brand and Public Art
- Other related MarCom topics across major commercial and multifamily product types
Topics of discussion prohibited from the Forum include direct promotion of members’ company, services, or products.
*Our community is for learning and networking, not selling. We expect our members and guests to refrain from direct promotion of their company, services and products so that we can all enjoy the fellowship of a shared community peer group. Behaviors that are prohibited include direct sales approaches either at our events or via electronic communication; adding members en-masse to email marketing lists; aggressive sales tactics of any kind; and the disparagement of any other companies in the same industry. We are here to learn from one another and share our expertise; if members and guests mutually agree to explore doing business with one another, we encourage those individuals to take it offline by mutual agreement and communicate separately from our events and community forums.
