In April 2002, ULI–the Urban Land Institute convened a panel of 37 experts in Washington, D.C., to discuss the topic “Corporate Location and Smart Growth.” The pur- pose of the forum was to stimulate a dialogue on the question of how the real estate needs of companies can be met in settings that are consistent with smart growth principles.
