Senior Associate, Marketing and Communications


This professional will be a member of the Marketing and Membership department of ULI Asia Pacific. The primary role is to develop and implement various marketing initiatives, with a specific focus on digital marketing and branding. The professional will work closely with the global digital marketing team to create leverage and synergy, and to ensure quality and consistency in the Asia Pacific region.

The new position is an integral part of the ULI Asia Pacific Strategic Plan, with the objective to enhance the marketing platform to drive membership growth and results in the region.




  • Manage the ULI Asia Pacific website ( with regular and timely updates, and periodic analytics to improve traffic and usage.
  • Curate content from national councils, which includes event highlights, major initiatives, content pieces, and leadership updates.
  • With the support from the team, prepare the content, including text and visuals as required, and post to the website.
  • Be part of the global marketing and communications team; collaborate with headquarters to implement new initiatives to enhance member experience through the websites.
  • Work with the Manager of Marketing and Membership (Manager) to design campaigns to drive traffic to
  • Act as the coordinator and superuser of the national council websites in the region.
  • Collaborate with the Asia Pacific Summit team and help manage when it is related to marketing and communications, which includes images, and uploading of PR and post-event material.

Social Media

  • Work with the Manager and the global Director of Digital Marketing to map out the social media strategy and plan for the Asia Pacific region; implement the plan with tracking and measurement.
  • Develop and implement the regional content marketing calendar across ULI Asia Pacific’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram; and in collaboration with China, WeChat.
  • Take the lead in curating content from national councils and populate the content on, ULI Asia Pacific’s social media platforms, and global’s social media platforms in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the administration and adherence of global social media policies for national councils.
  • Be an active member of the global digital marketing team and contribute to strengthen ULI’s global brand through social sharing.
  • Track and measure the results of engagement through social media.

Email Marketing

  • Manage email marketing campaigns for ULI Asia Pacific as required.
  • Gather information, prepare visuals, and draft email campaigns for ULI Asia Pacific regional events.
  • Train to be a superuser of Magnet Mail and MMS NetForum, with an ability to implement content automation to enhance member communication, development, and engagement.

Event Marketing

  • Help manage the event calendar for the Asia Pacific region with regular updates.
  • Support regional conferences and events as required.


  • Support various ULI Asia Pacific projects as required throughout the year, including the Asia Pacific Summit, Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Asia Pacific, the ULI-WEF Leadership Forum, and other ad hoc initiatives.


  • Support the creation of visual content for ULI Asia Pacific’s websites and social media platforms.
  • Working with the team, global Design Director, and/or design resource in the region to refresh and customise presentations and collaterals for ULI Asia Pacific.


  • Minimum 3-5 years’ marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency in analysing data.
  • Strong writing and communications skills.
  • Basic skills in design and related tools, including Photoshop.
  • Good time management, capable of meeting tight deadlines and multitasking.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong team player and orientation towards teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
