Breeze BSD City, a formerly low-value sand quarry, has been commercially developed into a high-value retail property in BSD City Newtownship, South Tangerang, Indonesia. The Breeze is a facility for people from ten office buildings inside BSD Green Office Park and the larger community of BSD City. It has become a destination for people seeking unique dining experiences, outdoor community activities, and attractive outdoor entertainment with inviting views to the lake. In its tropical design, the development incorporates many elements of local Indonesian culture. Most notably, its developer focused on creating a “mall without walls” by using glass frames without any solid walls on the building’s perimeter to allow for visual openness and daylight penetration.
