POSITION SUMMARY:
The ULI Americas Corporate Partnerships Team is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in the innovation, development, and delivery of the Institute’s corporate membership platform. The Associate will play a key relationship management support role in the department’s objectives by ensuring that excellent service standards are delivered to the corporate members of ULI. The role will also be responsible for managing and processing information for the department as required. There will also be opportunities for the role to contribute to and lead on specific membership engagement and business development initiatives.
The position requires a combination of skills, including project management, communication, and customer relations. Information processing, management, and analytical skills will also be integral. The successful candidate will therefore have excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and be proficient in working with databases. Equally excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven track record in responding expeditiously and efficiently to customer needs will be important.

This position is currently remote but is based in Washington, D.C., once it is safe to return to the office in person.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide relationship management support, serving as the point of contact for key corporate members when identified.
- Identify growth opportunities for ULI Corporate Partnerships.
- Support the Vice President and Director, Corporate Partnerships, in identifying and executing process improvements related to corporate account activity.
- Act as an ambassador for corporate best practice program implementation.
- Deliver member engagement onboarding sessions via webinar.
- Update and maintain CRM and manual databases with information regarding Corporate Partner activity and deliverables.
- Generate, track, and manage all agreements, account management collateral, and support master invoicing where appropriate.
- Support the creation of marketing and partner toolkit collateral.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required to support member engagement requirements.
- Work with various ULI functions to deliver on member expectations.
- Manage renewal process in conjunction with appropriate customer service teams for corporate partners.
- Provide customer service via current and future channels (including phone, email, and chat).
- Create and update customer profile information/demographics in the CRM.
- Address member/customer/corporate inquiries, and issues regarding event promotions and discounts.
- Assist in invoicing and issuing receipt upon internal and external request.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, account management, or related work experience.
- Ability to work with external stakeholders; experience with project or client management preferred, but not required.
- Ability to track complex programs and synthesize data through spreadsheets.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of/interest in social media landscape and current association partnership strategies is desirable.
- Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Raiser’s Edge, or similar CRM program is desirable.
- Understanding of and interest/experience in the real estate industry is desirable.
