Spring 2021 Randall Lewis/ULI Building Healthy Places Virtual Forum
The 12th in the series of Building Healthy Places Interest Forums took place in conjunction with the 2021 ULI Virtual Spring Meeting.
In response to the shootings that killed eight people in the Atlanta area on March 16, ULI made the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the murder of eight people in Atlanta last week. As we reflect on this tragic event, we want to reaffirm our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As leaders in our industry and communities, we stand against acts of violence and racism in all of its forms. ULI stands in solidarity with Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) throughout the nation to denounce the rise of anti-AAPI rhetoric, violence, and racism.
ULI’s commitment to equitable communities extends beyond the built environment. Our mission is only attainable by hearing, understanding, and amplifying more diverse perspectives involved and engaged in solving today’s land-use and urban development challenges. ULI will continue to work to transform our communities to create an equitable future for all of their citizens.”
