Urban Land Institute to Advise Sonoma County, California, on Climate and Economic Resilience Strategies

WASHINGTON (April 13, 2021)- The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has received the 2021 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award for its efforts in promoting energy efficient and sustainable buildings, and for its thought leadership on energy conservation throughout the real estate sector. The Urban Land Institute is a global, member-driven organization comprising more than 45,000 real estate and urban development professionals dedicated to advancing the Institute’s mission of shaping the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
This award recognizes ENERGY STAR® partner businesses and organizations in good standing that demonstrate superior leadership, innovation, and commitment to environmental protection through energy efficiency.

The Greenprint Center for Building Performance is part of ULI’s research arm focused on climate mitigation, making the business case for green buildings by tying reductions in carbon emissions to increases in asset value. Greenprint covers topics ranging from city/real estate climate policy to sustainable tenant fitouts to net zero and everything in between. Greenprint also includes a worldwide alliance of leading real estate owners, investors, and strategic partners committed to improving the environmental performance of the global real estate industry. Through benchmarking, knowledge sharing, and implementation, Greenprint and its members strive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent by 2030 – and now – to achieve net zero carbon operations by 2050.
